As a young boy in Bhiwani, Sachin Gawri witnessed an unfair reality that left a lasting impression on him. Many bright and hardworking girls around him were forced to leave school because their families could not afford the cost of education. From an early age, he promised himself that one day he would make sure no girl would have to give up her dreams due to financial hardships.

In 2012, Sachin moved to Gurugram. With a stable career and growing resources, he began fulfilling that childhood promise. What started as sponsoring the education of a few girls gradually evolved into a larger mission to empower many.

In 2019, Sachin Gawri established the Samidha Welfare Foundation, an NGO committed to uplifting girls from disadvantaged communities by providing access to education, healthcare, emotional support, and career opportunities. Even as the Founder and CEO of Rise Infraventures Limited, Samidha continues to be the project closest to his heart.

When Samidha started its journey in 2021 to 22, it reached just 16 girls. Today, 65 girls are benefitting from the program, all attending well-regarded English-medium schools. The foundation’s vision is clear and impactful: to ensure that every girl, regardless of her background, has the same opportunities as those from more privileged families.

Samidha support goes far beyond academics. The girls are encouraged to explore theatre, music, dance, and sports, helping them build confidence and creativity. Yoga and mindfulness sessions foster emotional strength, while regular health check-ups, nutrition programs, and hygiene initiatives ensure their physical well-being. For Sachin, these girls are more than students, they are the future leaders who will shape a better tomorrow.

The impact of this work is already evident. Many girls supported by Samidha have transformed their lives and built successful careers in fields such as hospitality, e-commerce, and healthcare, inspiring others with their journeys.

For instance, Hannah Nagpal, a talented student and tennis player, earned a scholarship at A&M College in Alabama, USA, thanks to Samidha support. She is now pursuing a degree in Computer Science while continuing her tennis training. Similarly, Usha Kataria, once a shy teenager, is now a confident beautician, earning a livelihood and supporting her family.

These stories reflect the profound impact of one man's childhood promise, a promise that has transformed the lives of countless young women and inspired a movement of change.

For Sachin Gawri, Samidha is not just an NGO, it is his lifes mission. His vision for the future is ambitious and inspiring, including supporting 1,000 girls over the next five years, establishing a dedicated learning and skill-development centre, and offering scholarships for higher education abroad.

Every girl deserves the right to learn, dream, and achieve, he says. Education is not charity; it is justice. By empowering girls, we are not just helping individuals , we are uplifting families, strengthening communities, and shaping the nation.
